“I started coaching sessions with Jenna in November 2020 after months of feeling overwhelmed and anxious as a Mum. I had lost my job and had little support due to the pandemic. I felt overwhelmed and was exhausted trying to be a perfect Mummy but feeling like I was failing. I had somehow lost myself along the way.

In the four months of coaching with Jenna, the change in my mindset from the very first session to the last has been incredible. I went into the sessions feeling I was never going to able to be the person I used to be or the Mum I wanted to be. My sessions gave me time to really explore my personal values and goals and work out what was most important to me and what motivates me as a Mum and as a person. I used to procrastinate about any changes that were needed in my life and would often not even try, as I didn’t believe I was capable. The coaching sessions helped me break these down into small manageable goals and pushed me to be accountable and more confident in achieving them. My coaching journey with Jenna, really changed my mind-set and helped me see things more positively and cemented what I wanted for my family life and for me to be a happy and content Mum, going forward.

Jenna has a kind, nurturing and supportive coaching style that makes you feel completely at ease. She gives you the space, time, encouragement and tools you need to find you again or make changes. For any Mum that is feeling a little lost in Motherhood or struggling to balance Mum life/career/relationships, I can’t recommend coaching with Jenna enough.

I can’t quite believe how much has changed in the last few months! From knowing nothing about coaching to completing a six session course with Jenna, I feel I have gained so much. As a mum with two very young children, the self care package was eye opening for me, and so useful to complete. I feel so much better for it. “I’ve had coaching with Jenna over the last four months and I have experienced a real mind-set shift. I’ve gone from wondering when I would ever have the time or energy to achieve my goals, to now having a much more positive outlook, feeling like life is full of options (rather than fear) and I believe in my capabilities more. As a coach, Jenna is encouraging and really listens, but she also challenged me when I needed to be challenged.

I have a busy full time job which involves travelling a lot, as well as studying for intense accountancy exams. Before I started coaching with Jenna, I had all of these goals that I wanted to do achieve – like taking stock of my career direction and being more creative in my spare time, but I just couldn’t see where I would fit in the time to achieve these goals. My goals used to feel like a chore, felt like I ‘should’ do them and I just had no energy or motivation to actually do them.

Coaching has allowed me to have a clearer sense of what’s important to me, and allowed me to etch out tangible goals. Talking through my goals in detail with Jenna, and how my goals aligned with my personal values, I saw things in a different light. I’ve realised that starting somewhere and keeping things simple, allows me to chip away at my goals little by little. Each time I’ve achieved an action, this has increased my confidence and motivation. This is a real mind set shift for me that I will carry forward.

We explored my personal values, especially in relation to my career and I found this fascinating and enlightening. Due to this, I feel like I understand my motivations more that are important to me. Going forward, having these values at the forefront of my mind solidifies is a good anchor to come back to, when making decisions in general.

As well as making real progress in achieving my goals, coaching has had a ripple effect into other areas of my life and I’ve found that I am looking after myself more, being kinder to myself and ‘living’ more. I am not beating myself up anymore and I feel like I can close down those negative spiralling thoughts quicker, which I can take forward into different situations now.

Before coaching, I was so down on myself, was always thinking what I ‘should’ do rather than what I wanted to do and was worried about what others thought of me. I’ve realised that actually it doesn’t matter what others think of me and that comparison has lessened. I am letting go and enjoying myself more and I am more at ease with the outcome of everything.

Going forward, I plan to continue to develop my career in a way that is aligned to my values, keep developing my creative side and focusing on being happy and healthy. My two big personal goals are getting a book published and selling clothes that I’ve made. I am excited for the future and coaching has really helped me see such a positive way forward and believe that these new goals are possible. I don’t feel afraid anymore and I now have a clear belief that I can achieve whatever I want, I just need to plan for it and do it!”
